Self portrait of me running. I love running. It helped me out of depression and obesity and I encourage anyone who is feeling down on their life to take it up. I’m training for a half marathon and this is all my head is on when I’m focused lately so I though I’d make a drawing
This was a gift for someone. I never really draw any disney characters, but Tinkerbell was fun to do. Concept is pretty straight forward, I was very relaxed when doing it so it felt very fluent, the ship in the BG looks a bit bad but I’m not too worried about it. I hope you like it!
Art trade with Val Toukatly, She made an awesome pic for me and, I have been constantly reconfiguring and failing at coming up with a suitable image. It started as Just Captain America, then when I couldn’t pose him the way I wanted, I tried Captain America v.s Link, then every idea or composition included hiding too much of one character cause the shields take up so much of the frame in every shot I had in mind. Then I pulled a little Reese’s action and made this: Captain Hylia! It was fun and I wish he really existed lol!

Finished! Decided to let the lines speak louder than the color, but I feel the color adds a nice punch.
After a couple suggestions (of which I am very grateful for) I did some over hauling to the linework, colors haven’t changed too much (which is why I turned off those layers). But I was reading ‘The Long Halloween’ and I really got a lot of inspiration from Tim Sale’s art. a I really learned a lot of what I can do with my heavy style of linework. What do ya think?
